Elevator Pitch No. 1

Opportunity: On the surface it may trivial to implement technology in the drive thru menus, but I think the value added to making consumers interact with each respective franchises' menu is understated.

Solution: By implementing technology akin to Apple Pay or Samsung Pay at drive thru menus, consumers will have a variety of options to choose from instead of just simply picking a "#1 meal combo." With the opportunity I'm presenting, customers will have more power in customizing their order at the drive-thru area before proceeding to the window to receive their food. Of course, there are some holes and kinks that have to be fixed in the idea, but I think it could be the start of something new in the fast food industry.

The name of my company is QuickPay!

  1. This is a great idea I've never even considered before! It would greatly increase efficiency and reduce the frustration from both the customer and the employee in trying to communicate what exactly they want. It could also help cut costs for businesses (however jobs may be lost). Overall I hope this idea will one day be reality.

  2. Hey Rnard,
I think your pitch is great! I would just suggest trying to pace a bit less as it distracts the person you are trying to give the pitch to from paying attention to what your saying. Aside from that i actually think your idea is genius, and unlike anything i've thought of before. Like chad mentioned, it could be very beneficial for businesses, not so much for some of their employees.

  3. That's a great idea Rnard! It really simplifies the whole ordering process. I can't even count the times that I had to keep reminding the employees to not put ice in my drink and I think with an app like this you can easily specify what you do and don not want.

    Keep it up!

  4. Hey Rnard,
Your elevator pitch is great, the product you presents is interesting and can be very handy. Personally, I made an app, it was difficult but eventually when it was finished, the rewarding feeling is strongly rewarding.
